Excellent sushi

Liked it. Taste, quality, atmosphere; but its a bit pricier compares to other Jap restaurants (my personal opinion).

Delicious foods (although I only got to try their "korokke", sashimi and mineral water 😒).

Taste not that good, better to eat at suhsi tei

It' better for you to order 2 bowl of sabu-sabu rather than larger bowl. Despite of bigger serving bowl and broth, the meat slices looks the same

Would be better if the service was more friendly and food quality should be evaluated since it is not as good as it used to be.

Ambience is pretty good and all. Ordered the chicken teriyaki and it was very dry and bland. The other foods was okay.

Love the ambience. Some of the food are really superior, the sashimis are also fresh. But compared to its competitors, its price is not a head turner

I am truly amazed on how Midori has kept the same great taste and service for more than a decade now, I started going there when I was a little girl and never stopped. A childhood favorite was udon with a side of ebi tempura, and a recent favorite is the asari butteryaki.

The food is quite tasty here. It's a stand alone location. Reasonable prices and reasonable service. Buttons on all the tables to call a server. The ambiance is well worn but traditional. A decent value.

Nice ambience, great food, reasonable price!First time being here, I ordered tenzaru soba, sashimi, piman salad and one of their specialty sushi (the one with crunchy potato on top).All of my orders came with an impeccable plating and flavour!Oh if only I had more stomach, would've tried all their specialty sushi....Definitely worth the price. I will surely come back again or maybe tried other branches

Quality decreasing overtime..used to be one of the best japanese restaurant in jakarta. Or probably now jakarta have much more choices in term of japanese restaurants.

Old authentic japanese food. Good ambience.

Midori does not disappoint. Its sushi and ramen are good, albeit not great, but you can always count on them to bring an array of decent Japanese food on the table. My favorite would be the Tofu Nabe, a clay-pot dish which takes some time to cool. When you're catching a cold, this is the dish to eat - warm, hearty and at a reasonable price.

Nice atmosphere for family lunch. Good japanese dishes:sushi, sashimi, grilled chicken teriyaki with miso soup. Come early or make reservation, tend to be crowded in the weekend.

The place was packed with local customers (Around 7 pm). Food wise good but the portion was small compared to the price. Maybe because it located on Pondok Indah street.

Good salmon “teriyaki” or sweet sauce, “yasai” or veggie “tempura” or battered fried, salmon head “shioyaki” or salted grilled, and “yaki onigiri” or grilled rice cakes. Service a bit slow but acceptable still for we ordered grilled food which taking a bit longer to cook. Reasonable price too!

The Panda Bento is so cute (even tough they don't use lunch box) and delicious

I don't think any of chef been or work experience in Authentic Japanese restaurant or had Japanese food in Japan. Poor presentation, wrong way to handling Zaru soba , should put soba on the drainage plate and Not serve with miced Ginger and raw egg(small bird egg) for dipping sauce. (Where this idea from.???) In Japan, Only egg York for Skiyaki or shabu shabu dipping sauce not whole egg. Not for Zaru soba... Shabu shabu Suace serve with " raw garlic??".... Japanese barley use raw garlic for any sauces. Or very minimal garlic in Japanese food. Korean use lots of raw garlic. M Block area has many authentic Japanese restaurant, Midori chefs should go there and experience real Japanese food.

Excellent food! Place is kinda small but great service and love their sushi.

This is the restaurant i always visit if i want to celebrate something. The food is great and affordable for the kind of ingredients they use. Service is quick you just need to press a button and a waiter/waitress will serve you immedietly

The foods and drinks were great. Although, some of the employees sometime would jokes with each other and forgot about their jobs. Like, forgot to bring the menus to the customers that just come in? But! They're quick to serve their food, the atmosphere isn't really homey but it gave off a privacy vibe. The music's pretty fun to listen to! All in all, I liked it! ^_^♡☆

I came into this resto right after i'd had my massage upstairs (apparently they always set up both outlets massage n resto near each other for this specific brand). Really got my appetite going when ordering the sashimi fish combo, miso siru (hot soya bean based soup) and their signature gyutang steak (tender ox tongue steak). This is definitely a true Japanese restaurant at its best..(or maybe i was too hungry after the 2 hour long massage 😊). Ambience is pleasant and cool. Non smoking.

We can know the level of japanese restaurant by their sashimi, but here is so terrible. It looks like frozen fish and specially tuna sashimi was already split when it was served to me. And moreover the price of bintang beer is rp 90,000???!!! Oh my god!! The most expensive price what i ever had in Indonesia for bintang beer.This restaurant is not a authentic japanese’s, this is only for indonesians with for their taste. I don’t mean that is not good, i just wanna say this is not a real japanese restaurant which japanese never visit.Anyway it is enough just once for me and never come again

Always love to be here. All the rolls was great, never fails me. Some of their rolls, we can choose 4 or 8, thats great idea. So we can order more rolls tho 😉

This ika butteryaki you must try, it taste sooooo goood and i never forget to order this ika butteryaki.
